Courageous - Book GIVEAWAY!

A Book Review
WIN THIS BOOK! Details following the review...
Police officers are often thought of as courageous due to the very nature of their jobs. But officers Adam Mitchell and Nathan Hayes soon find that committing to become the fathers, the husbands, the very men God called them to be takes another type of courage. Facing personal tragedy and witnessing daily how the decline of strong male leadership in the home is affecting our culture, they learn to become heroes at home as well as in uniform.
Written as a novelization of the motion picture Courageous, which opens in theaters September 30th, it is often difficult to follow the quickly-shifting scenes and multiple characters. Because the basic plot is so compelling, however, this challenge is easy to overlook. I became hopeful of the possibility of a movement of godly Christian men desiring to lead their families and believe that many men will be inspired by the story as well. I look forward to seeing the movie in my local theater and hope you will invite the men in your life to see it as well. If you'd prefer to read the book, you can buy it here.
Check out the official movie trailer, but if you're reading this on my blog, be sure to go to the bottom of the page and pause the music player first!

I just saw this movie Monday night at a private screening event and it was AMAZING. Bring tissue. I've never ever been to a movie that has you crying one minute and laughing so hard you swear you're gonna pee your pants the next. I won't give anything away, but if you see the movie be on the lookout for Javier....so funny!!!!
I just saw this movie on Monday at a private screening event-it was AMAZING!!! Bring a big wad of tissue. The action literally starts within the first minutes of the movie and from there its a big ol' emotional roller coaster. One minute your heart is being ripped out of your chest and the very next minute you'll be laughing hard enough to pee your pants! When this movie comes out on the
30th drop what you're doing and GO SEE IT!!!!!

I'm telling you- thinking back on certain parts of that movie still makes me shake my head and laugh! :-) I hope you like the movie as much as the book (sometimes the movie is nothing like the book)-the movie is incredibly well done. It delivers the message without being preachy.
I can't wait to see this movie! I absolutely LOVED Fireproof. Sometimes the books are much better than the movie, so I am looking forward to reading the book too! If I don't win it, I will just buy it. I keep seeing preview on TV for the movie, it looks awesome!
